Dharmic Engineers Door Project

The Door Project a.k.a. The Doorgan is a world-class work of art  produced by the longstanding Seattle-based artists group Dharmic Engineers.  Created collaboratively one day a week over a period of seven years, the Doors made their public debut in Seattle in March of 1997 and were an instant hit.   Response during the seven public Washington State showings was unanimously positive and the public has clearly been engaged by the scale and depth of the work.  Now it is planned for the Doors to tour through seven cities in the Americas before being located to their permanent home in the Mayalands of Mexico.

The photos appearing in this gallery were taken at Westlake Center in downtown Seattle and along the beach in Langley on Whidbey Island.  For detailed information about the Door Project, please click on the Door Information link in the navigation bar to the left.  Thank you.
